Game Rules

- The following rules are valid for all of WarpFire.com
- Deviation from the bellow listed "Game Rules" may/will lead to the temporary or permanent ban.
- Please be aware that discussions concerning certain things are limited to the account owner and game staff.
- The staff has the right to ban any accounts ingame. Read the T&C for more information.


1. Multi-Accounts

Each player is only allowed one account per gaming world.
Should two or more accounts be either temporarily or permanently played from the same network or computer, then a GameOperator must be notified.


2.Account Sharing

A player account may invariably only be used by one person. There are no exceptions.


3. Account-Sitting

Account-Sitting is prohibited and in WarpFire also not necessary, since the account cannot be attacked after successful logout. The situation will be dealt the same as Multi-Accounting.


4. Account-Change / Sale

Account-Switching is only allowed with the support of a GameOperator.
Should a player hand over their account to another person, either through multiple servers or through a free account, the email address must be changed immediately. Failure to do so will result in the non-handling of complaints. Pay attention to the fact that only complaints brought from the email address registered with the user will be handled. The respective holder of the account must get in touch with a GameOperator using this email address.
An account may only change owners once within the first 30 days. After the transfer, the email address must be changed accordingly.
The sale of the account, in which ever form, is strictly prohibited.


5. Bashing/Purposely shooting the player multiple times out of the game

You are not allowed to frag other players leaving a DMZ. Doing so can result in your account getting banned. Also, it is forbidden to wait at a gate just to frag another player. Nor is it allowed to repeatedly frag a player over a period of time.
In the event of war (WAR RULES) between two or more clans the gate bashing rule is lifted and applies to all involved clan members in battle with one another. However, the upcoming war must be noted 24 hours prior to begin on the WarpFire-Forum.

5.b. Fighting ingame with GameOp - Players must not attack GameOperators who are in GO mode. If an operator has GO/SGO/GA in their name, they are ingame as staff, not a player. - Player which disobey this rule will be banned.

6. Bugusing

The deliberate exploitation of bugs, as well as the failure to report bugs, is strictly prohibited. And will result on a perm ban from the game


7. Use of Ingame Chat

Any kind of spam, insult or slander towards another player within the Ingame Chat is prohibited. It is up to the GameOperators / ChatMoDs to warn the offending player, and to remove the player from the chat as a result of noncompliance. Grave misconduct will result in a ban from the game.
Posting any sort of link that is to an offensive site or to other browser based games that are NON GameForge related is prohibited. Offensive sites include, but are not limited to, pornography, extreme political sites, graphic pictures, etc.


8. Scripting

Programs that create an interface between account holder and game are prohibited. Also prohibited are any types of programs which automatically collect information in order to gain an unfair advantage over other players or groups.

This applies to:

Bots

Macros

Attention: Exceptions to this include only programs approved by Gameforge.


9. Rules Abuse:

Any form or attempt to gain an unfair advantage through the decisions of team members is prohibited.
This includes:

Reporting information which does not conflict with the rules of the game.

Impersonating a team member or the claim that one is part of the team, irrespective whether the player tries to gain an unfair advantage or just 'for fun'.

10. Reallife Threats

Communicating the intent to find and do harm to another person (e.g. User, team member, or a Gameforge agent) is strictly forbidden within the game and forums as well as the official IRC-Channel.


11. Content

It is strictly forbidden to insult the integrity of another player through immoral means.
The moral limits within the gaming world are decided on and controlled by the Game-Team.
Contents may be censored, and offending players may be temporarily or permanently banned.Complaints regarding the content can be reported to the supervisor of the Team Member in question.


Language

Country language in WarpFire.Com is English. This applies to the game, forum and official IRC-Channels.
That means the chat is English only too!

Important:

The GameSupport can decide to temporarily or permanently ban you from the game. This includes every account, no matter if this account has broken any of the above mentioned rules.

Also be aware that your conduct on any gaming platform (e.g. within the game, forum, IRC) may lead to a temporary or permanent ban from the entire community and its communication platforms.

If you feel that you were wrongly banned from the game as a result of non-compliance with the above mentioned rules, please contact the respective GameOperator through his email address or on IRC at #Warpfire.com.

Please also be aware that out of confidentiality reasons all complaints and the resolutions can only be discussed with the owner of the account.

EDIT:
Game Team members names has been added to the list of must NOT be attacked by players in the game.

*BUMP* Added the part in the 5.b rule about attacking staff member...
Its allowed to do so, and vice versa, around the control platforms.

EDIT: 5.b Rule regarding the fighting the Game Team members... is now completely canceled. From this point you can attack staff member and vice versa anywhere in the galaxy.
