There will also be guides and Helpful Information to guide you through the world of Warpfire.

I hope that you find this small guide useful, as I spent about 9 hours on just regaining the images on the above posts.

Warpfire - Tutorial: Mining, Fighting & Understanding your map

Warpfire Tutorial: How to gain Money!!!

Ok, so you need a good source of cash in the pocket.. hey I don't blame you, its a tough world out there, a lot of hard monsters to shoot down, so lets get you trained up to fill up that bank.

In this screen shot, I am next to a ORE (Floating Material) in my home base, you can usually tell that it is ore, because of its spherical shape. When you highlight it, the ore should tell you what type it is. the different types contain of:
  • Iron
  • Silicon
  • Iridium
  • Titanium

You collect this ore by simply clicking on it, your ship should then hover over it, and the "beam it" up to your ship, you will then get a randomly generated number of that type of material in your ships cargo bay. This can later be refined or sold to get you some of that sweet cash lump.

Warpfire Tutorial: How to attack

Ok, so you want that amazing ship... darn you need to be level 3.... shoot, it looks really good!

Attacking is the main source of EXP (Experience), which will soon gain you that higher level, to do this you simply have to shoot enemy's down with your ship
you can do this in three simple steps...

Step 1.) Pick a target and click it (like an ore)

Step 2.) Press the number "1" button on your keyboard (not the numeric one)

Step 3.) Sit back and watch your enemy die, and be happy when you see how much you go up by.

Your enemies life is shown on the small red bar above the target

wait until the bar disappears and you will be able to collect some laser ammunition to help defeat another monster, notice how your EXP bar (yellow bar at the top of your screen) has gone up.. this is good.. don't panic.

Warpfire Tutorial: Understanding Your Map

so.. you will see in the bottom right corner of your screen a small box with "map" as a title, you might not have guessed it, but this is your map.

looks small, but that map holds a whole lot of information on it,

The small white dot - This is your ship.... you move it moves... magic
The Red dots - these are enemies
The blue circles - These are safe spots or Space Stations, here you can sell your Material (ores)
The White square - this is a gateway to a new world....
The Numbers at the bottom - This is your current location (Universe[number], Position[Co-ordinates])

The white Square: Definition - Like a wormhole, these gates lead to 16 different areas, each with there own little surprise, the further you go the harder the enemies.

Warpfire - Tutorial: Let's Start Questin' !!!

Warpfire - Tutorial: Questing to level!

So, you want to level faster now??

Yes.. Ok, why else would you be reading this... Ok, don't close your game!!

Ok, so how to take on quests..
  • Go into your hanger (main Warpfire page)
  • Click on Quests (1)
  • Choose your quest (For this example I will go for the Ore Quest) (2)
  • Click "Adopt Quest" (3)

Then you go back in game (click "Start" if you got rid of your window)

Then you can play the quest that you selected, once you have completed the quest you will get this screen in your "Quests" section on your hanger view:

you need to click "deliver" before the timer runs out, otherwise you will have to do the quest again. Afterwards, this will massively increase your EXP level, and get you closer to that really good ship.
